At a time when people really need a little bit of entertainment because they have been confined to their homes for so long, they are finding it more difficult than they ever expected to actually go through with it.  Google searches for national parks tours and has skyrocketed over the course of the last few months because people have been attempting to find different forms of entertainment that we have all been outside as opposed to being inside where they are more likely to be exposed to the virus.  As they search for different aspects of touring a national park, they realize very quickly that the main reason that they have not undertaking this kind of thing in the past is due to the distance that it takes to drive there as well as the logistics of the trip.  They then begin to look into professional tour companies that can offer them the transportation and logistical information to be necessary for them to enjoy a national park without all of the difficulties, and they’re coming up against some unique situations.  Many of the tour companies that operate in the past giving national park tours from Las Vegas and other areas have either gone out of business altogether are operating in such a limited capacity that they cannot offer the tours that people are looking for.  This is because they rely heavily upon tours and from other countries in order to make up the majority of the seats on their vehicles.  As travel from other countries into the United States became more difficult, we found that the majority of these companies were not able to turn a profit and simply ceased operations.  Others that were able to find unique ways of continuing business were not able to maintain the same kinds of safety precautions necessary to cover the CDC guidelines that been put forth.  This meant that national parks themselves would not allow them to come in as a commercial operation, and therefore their groups could not enter the parks.  We have maintained are operational status and are also welcomed to utilize our commercial licensing within all national parks due to the fact that we have gone out of our way to either meet or beat all the CDC recommendations as far as safety goes.  We have reduced the capacities of our vans in order to allow for social distancing as well as providing alternative tours that offer self drive options and privatization for families of four or more.  We have taken measures to sanitize all of our vehicles before tours as well as temperature check in all of our guests before they enter the vehicle.  All of our communal aspects have been transitioned into single use items that are provided for each guest individually.  Our camping equipment as well as large in options have also been adjusted to allow for single person tents or rooms.  We have gone so far as to keep our guests safe that we are one of the only operators that is still providing a national park tours in 2020.
