Death Valley is considered one of the most unique areas on the face of the earth, with less than 2 inches of rainfall every year and summertime temperatures that will often be above 120° for extended periods of time. A near complete lack of water makes things very difficult, and the extreme heat adds to the fact that attempting to call Death Valley home is a constant struggle.
