The Coronavirus pandemic has changed the way that we need to do business, and many within that tour industry have failed to figure out ways to continue providing tours. There are only a handful of tour operators that are still providing tours of national parks, and even fewer are creating new options that will enable guests to experience the national park spaces and entirely new ways. This is why Bindlestiff Tours has been recognized by so many as being a leader in our industry, because where others have chosen to simply stop operating until which time they can begin resuming tours as usual, we have created new and innovative products that will not only keep our guests safe but keep them entertained during a time when they need it most. As people begin to feel the crush of a lack of entertainment options due to the pandemic, we have seen a significant rise in interest in national park tours, as people realized that an outdoor space allows for ample social distancing and an ability to experience these scenic areas without much interaction with others. It is the type of experience that is almost exclusively unique to national parks, as almost every type of entertainment aside from these will not be able to provide social distancing measures and outdoor spaces. The real challenge for visitation of national parks has been the same as it always has, the transportation from your starting point to the park itself. Because these areas are relatively remote and are at a minimum of about ½ days drive from the nearest major city, we have found that the two most satisfying options are either driving yourself or taking a tour in which someone else provides the transportation and guidance. Many of the tour operators have not been able to figure out ways to keep their guests safe during the transportation portions of the trip, and only through a diligent commitment to our guests safe have we been able to develop our new and unique products, as well as modify our existing tour products in ways that will keep everyone as safe as possible. We have followed the CDC guidelines to create more distance between guests inside of our vehicles as well as providing full senate position of those vehicles before anyone gets on board. We utilize temperature checks and screening for Coronavirus previous to anyone being able to enter an enclosed area with our guests. Everyone is required to wear masks at all times including the tour guide and driver, and we have moved away from our communal aspects in lieu of single use items and camping equipment. All of these measures have been in addition to the creation of our new self drive tours as well as the reduction of the amount of people necessary for a tour to be private. Currently we allow for groups of four people or more to have an entire vehicle to themselves, ensuring that even a typical family of four can be protected from exposure to outside parties.
