There are few places on earth that will take your breath away. Most of them are places that you think of immediately, national parks that everyone has heard of and as a result have crowds of people and tourist traffic. While there is nothing wrong with visiting any of the popular national parks and we completely suggest that you visit them all, sometimes you want to see nature and landscapes that are so pristine and clear that you can’t believe that they aren’t more popular. The Canadian Rocky Mountains is one of these types of places, where you will feel like you are the only one on earth as you gaze over landscapes that look like paintings. Touring the Canadian Rockies is now as easy as arranging it through us, and if you have seven days that you can spend then we are sure that you will never forget it. Those movies that you have seen about the wilderness have nothing on the Rocky Mountains in person.
Our Canadian Rocky Mountains tours leave on Sundays (one or two days per month) from Seattle, where we meet the rest of our group and then travel over the border into Canada. Our first start is Kamloops, where you will see wildlife that you have probably never seen in person before. You will be treated to elk, bears and cougars, and will also see “Bridal Veil Falls,” one of the most dramatic waterfalls on earth. We visit Yoho National Park and Banff National Park on days three and four, and will also canoe on Lake Louise. Day five takes us to Icefields National Park and Jasper, where we camp overnight and explore fully. Day six and seven is Whistler, Vancouver and back to Seattle. The total trip is one of the most dramatic experiences we have ever put together, and we proudly offer in in limited time slots this summer.
The Canadian Rockies Tour is sure to please even the most experienced traveler, with a full week of exploration and hiking, incredible wildlife viewing opportunities and camping. We supply everything you need, all you have to do is bring your sleeping bag. A high point for most people during this experience is viewing Mt. Robson, as well as Bow Glacier and Peyto Lake. The experience of having these unbelievable backdrops spreading out in front of you while you see wildlife close up that you have probably only seen on nature shows on television is enough to make most guests wish they had more than a week. While it would be easy to spend months in these areas exploring without ever having the same experiences twice, the pace we keep on the tour will give you enough of each area to satisfy you, at least for now. We picked the Canadian Rockies because the area remains unspoiled in a way that many other parks cannot claim to be, and by camping in the parks you get to really become one with nature. This is a once in a lifetime trip, are you ready?
