Many people from all over the globe consider doing at least one epic trip in their lifetimes.  Some people go further than that and visit exotic and beautiful areas often, understanding that adventure is one of the elements that keeps you young.  There is a huge difference between "adventure travel" and simply touring an area.  Adventure travel is an attempt to become more intimate with the surroundings, live like the locals or great explorers did, and find the little hidden gems that every area has along the way.  Adventure travelers are the ones searching for the places that are not in the guide books and not on the maps, the ones that only the old man who has lived there his entire life knows about.  An adventure traveler is trying to experience the area, instead of simply taking pictures of themselves in front of it.  This is why adventure travelers search for the epic areas, the ones that will provide air so clean you can taste it, water so blue and clear that it looks like a painting, and expanses that are unspoiled by man's encroachment.  They are looking for the places where wildlife has not been disturbed, and they want to become part of it at least for a short time.  This is the adventure that the Canadian Rockies offers you, and all you have to do is dedicate some time and let our guides take you there. When you started thinking about the things you were going to do during your Las Vegas vacation, you probably Googled "things to do in Las Vegas." The list you were presented with probably had a lot of shows and restaurants that were in and around the city, mostly on the strip.  Some of the more extensive lists will also include things to do that are not necessarily in the city itself, and will discuss must see places outside of Las Vegas within a reasonable driving distance.  This list will mostly reference the different national parks that are in the general vicinity and able to be driven to, and this list will almost be guaranteed to include the Grand Canyon.  The Grand Canyon is considered one of the most iconic landscapes on earth, and must be visited by anyone who has come to Las Vegas.  If you have come this far, it is quite simply worth the few more hours of driving to see it.  The Grand Canyon is located in Arizona about four hours drive from Las Vegas, and because it is within such a reasonable distance it is offered by most tour companies in one form or another leaving from Las Vegas as the starting point.  We offer the Grand Canyon tour as an overnight that includes camping because we believe that you cannot do and see everything that is worth seeing in only one day if you lose the first four hours of it to driving.  We like to spend at least a full day in the park exploring, hiking and viewing so we will also offer the Grand Canyon as part of our multi-day packages as well, because it takes less time to get there from some of the other nearby parks that we visit than it
