Each year, thousands of tourists visit Bryce Canyon in order to experience the natural beauty of the area in person. Each year, thousands of others tart planning a trip to Bryce Canyon and end up forgetting their plans as they find that the trip can be a little difficult. Not that it is difficult to get to Bryce by car or difficult to navigate the park, but instead difficult to get to a starting place from their homes that makes sense. Bryce Canyon is located in Southwestern Utah and is roughly 270 miles from Las Vegas, the same distance from Salt Lake City. These two cities are the nearest to the park that have major airports, and updated hotels and restaurants. While there are other smaller towns nearer to the park, some of which have airports, there are none which can service major carriers. This simply means that getting to a point to call your starting point of your trip from your home is going to be difficult and expensive if you do not choose to start in either Las Vegas or Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas is better set up to cater to your needs as a visitor.
Because of the fact that a significant amount of the visitors to Bryce Canyon choose to start their trip from a major city instead of flying into a small town with limited resources, the tour companies who can be contracted from these cities are numerous. The type of tour you will receive depends upon what you are looking for, as most tour operators will simply act as bus drivers who allow the actual “guide” aspects to be handled by a DVD which plays as they drive. An “adventure tour” company like Bindlestiff Tours will be a more immersive experience, designed to allow you to participate in activities inside the parks in order to experience them first hand instead of just watching through a window. We even go as far as to pick you up and drop you off at the major hotels in Las Vegas!
Our tours of Bryce Canyon are offered as part of multiple-park tours. This means that you can choose a multiple-day experience that visits several parks in the area over several days. The number of parks you get to visit and the number of days spent in each location depends on the length of the tour you book, but our most popular is our 3 day tour which takes you to Bryce, Monument Valley and The Grand Canyon. We put together these multiple-park tours because all of these parks that we are visiting are roughly four hours of driving from our starting point in Las Vegas, and it just makes sense to maximize our adventure experience and minimize the driving time.
If you are interested in touring Bryce Canyon in a way that allows you to experience it as opposed to just looking at it, contact Bindlestiff Tours right away. We will make sure you get the most out of your experience, and you get to go on vacation in Las Vegas as well!
